I started racing in 2006 when I was about 10 years old. In 2008 I ran my first mini max season and finished 2nd in the season championship. I finished in the top 3 in 5 of the 8 races on the Gatorz tour. In 2009 my goal was to win races and go to the nationals. I won 3 races this year in Gatorz tour and won the season championship. The nationals we had a really good kart and were top 5 all weekend. The final didn’t go to well though as I was hit from behind on the first corner, but I learn a lot from competing at the nationals. It was a really great season for me. I am glad I did so well and got to participate in the Rotax series. I would like to thank Premier Motorsports and my family. |

Lake Dallas | TX | Southwest Regions Cup | 950 |
| Driving the #2 Tornado Cadet MiniMax, at age 10, with over 5 years of racing experience, a National Title, 2 Regional Titles and most recently the 2009 IKF Region 4b Road Race Champion, introducing from Dallas Texas, “The Ice Man” Michael Schneider. Mike began his racing career placing 2nd in his first race - a 3 hour kid kart enduro at North Texas Kartway in Denton Texas, his home track. The following year, he obtained a sponsorship with Cold Stone Creamery and as a result of that and his smooth mistake free driving under pressure obtained the nickname "Ice Man" going on to win the KART Nationals. At 7 he moved to TAG Cadet and became the Regional Champion his first year. At 8, Mike moved up again to Rotax where he has had much success at an early age. A couple of tough breaks in Norman kept him from running up front, but Mike looks forward to Indiana in 2010 and to competing in the Pan American series. | ||||||
